At the Christmas social, our District Deputy, Kevin Belanger presented our council with the Columbian Award. It recognized the outstanding programs and events that we organized during the last fraternal year. Because of all your hard work, our parish and community were made better.
We were happy to offer our parish a cheque for $1600 as half of the proceeds of the Elimination Draw. Santa Dave Houghton presented the cheque to Fr. Jim at that event too.
GK Roger Khouri presents the balance of the Elimination Draw proceeds, $1600 of which went to the Veteran's Tree of giving. Sue Hardy received the cheque and she offered her gratitude for all our efforts on behalf of the veterans.

June 22nd, Columbian Service Day. Thanks to James Vollmer who sat on the committee that organized the multi-council event. Also, thanks to the several guys who helped prepare and serve food to the needy at St. Joe's Soup kitchen.
Thanks to Pat and Luke Hogan for organizing the Ivan Shea Memorial Golf Tournament on June 22nd. As a result of that fund raising event, our council will be donating $800 to My Sister's Place. It was a blazing hot day so thanks to all the guys who partook in the golf event!
